I second theknot.com. They have literally THOUSANDS of pictures of flowers and cake - and anything else wedding related for that matter.
I'm having lime green cymbidium orchids in my boquet, which could be an option for you, depending on the shade of green you chose.
As for the cakes, the choices really are limited only by your imagination and your tastes. Talk to your baker and see what suggestions they have. There may be a trend in flavors in your area that they could recommend. Or, if you know you really only love certain flavors go with those. A white cake can be flavored with any combo of filling and frosting. We're having three tiers, two different flavor combos - french vanilla cake with cappuccino butter cream filling and a coconut cake with pina colada butter cream filling, all layers topped off with a basic white butter cream frosting.
Obviously those flavors aren't for everyone, but the point is you can start with your favorite flavors and go from there.

Go to www.theknot.com they have tons of wedding galleries of cakes and flowers. They are all gorgeous on there, I am sure you will find something you like!!
Gerbera daisies are my flower, along with daisies and other flowers, but they are gorgeous! Roses are always gorgeous or carnations as well.
Good luck with your planning!

Your dress sounds amazing, I would definately go with some bright flowers in something less traditional than roses, maybe pink or orange gerbria in a hand held bouquet, (trust me they are beautiful) they are bright and outgoing, which sounds like it would suit you perfectly. As for cake, I am having white chocolate ganache covering my cake, Im under the impression it is just melted white chocolate stired into butter and sugar. (Diet goes out the window on the day!). Let me know if any of this helps. XXX

Hi I need help with the flowers and the cake. My dress is either going to be emerald green or saphire blue, I have not decided yet. So I need ideas on what kind of flowers to have in my boquet (sp). All I can think of is white roses. Maybe some off you have an idea on where I can go to look at pictures of boquets or something. Anything would help. :)
Also the cake is going to be in the shape of a castle. I need ideas on filing and icing. Someone suggested a cream cheese icing. I am really bad with this. I have eaten cake with delicious icing before and I have no idea what kind it was. Also it is a white cake of course but I am finding out that there are all shorts of different white cake. Please help! LOL I never knew a cake could be so complicated.
Also the grooms cake is going to be chocolate so I need icing ideas for that one as well. :)
Thanks for any ideas, tips, or just letting me know what you are doing for your cake and flowers. :)
