wear what YOU feel comfortable in and what makes YOU feel your best...it doesn't matter who's wearing what or telling you what to wear...this is your day and it should be completely be about you. if you have on plain cotton underwear during the wedding who cares? good luck on your big day!!

I vote for comfort, too. You'll have plenty of time to change into whatever else after the ceremony, and if not, you still have a whole honeymoon!

I agree with the above, comfort.

I'll find some cute but comfy panties for under my dress. I don't need a bra with my corset style dress, so that'll keep it simple. But I don't think I'll get anything special to change into that night as we'll either be too tired, or he'll get me out of my dress before I can even get to changing! haha

I'm saving the "fun" things for after we get to our hotel room.

Thanks people. Comfort is the way to go. Strapless bras are so horrible, but longer sucking in tummy ones are a fab idea, cheers.

I would also have to agree to go with comfort for the ceremony and celebration. There will always be a few minutes to get yourself "prepared" to knock your new husband's socks off after you arrive at the hotel or even before you leave the reception.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Yes I would agree to wear underwear and stuff that is comfortable during the day. You don't want to be stuck in something all day that isn't comfortable.

I am just packing a little bag for the hotel we are staying in the night of our wedding with a cute piece of lingerie and a few things for the morning.

My wedding is only 8 days away now!!!!!!!!!

I'd have to agree with comfort, although my dress is strapless and we all know how strapless bras are! Yuck!

I'm sure the last thing you want to be thinking about on your wedding day is uncomfortable lingerie so just go with what you know!

I would say for the ceremony and reception get the underwear that makes you most comfortable and helps to flatter, such as a longline bra which will cover both strapless and tummy sucknig options.

Then you can change out of your practical underwear when you change outfits to leave if you're doing so or just excuse yourself for a minute later.

There are also some very pretty corsets you can wear that will give the same effect but the key here is to find a good one and not just go pick one up at any old store.

Has anyone any thoughts on underwear? Some people have been saying not to wear the 'sexy' stuff all day because it will get sweaty, so to put it on after a bath or shower on the wedding night. Others disagree completely. Im torn between comfort (seamless, simple, strapless bra, tummy holding in knickers) and 'sexy' (lacy push-up basque, thong, ect, uncomfortable). Any advice would be appreciated.X
