We're writting our own ceremony too and one of the best sites I found was 4wed.net/ceremonies. It gives lots of different wording examples for different sections of the ceremony, including a "Declaration of Intent" section. Check there and see if that helps any. GL

My fiance and I wrote our entire ceremony. We have taken pieces of different ceremonies online as well.

I would google "wedding ceremonies" and a million websites will come up! Just start going through them. You will just have to do a lot of research and reading to see what fits your relationship the best.

Good luck ;-)

We've put together our own ceremony by piecing together parts from about 3 or 4 different ceremonies! I'm not sure which part is the "intent to commit" though. Where is it added?

Is anyone else writing their own ceremony? We are having my friend sworn in as a JP for the day so it's up to us and I'm having trouble coming up with a nice "intent to commit" which is suppose to be something that is added into a wedding per all those lovely books out there!!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
