| So far we've got all but 5 replies back (luckily, they're all my FI's family so he's the one making the calls. We hope to get in contact with them this week, and have the seating plan finalized by the end of the month. It's exciting! 22 days to go.

It is frustrating but a lot of people don't particularly like using the internet, even the saavier of people. I know a lot of websites do it but it makes people nervous to feel as though they don't have a concrete reply.
I'm only inviting around 80 people but I know I'm going to be making calls. I'd rather do that then have it be because there was a problem in the mail.

| Although my RSVP date is no where near, My fiance' and I have already decided that if someone doesn't RSVP, then they just won't have a seat at the reception. If they don't have enough courtesy to RSVP (and we are taking RSVP on our website), then we don't feel as if we would have to go out of our way to accomodate such people. Even if it is family. It seems harsh, but that's is how you have to be eliminate stress on YOUR day. They should be accomodating you, not the other way around.

I know what you mean. I call my mom or my BM and they are like uh huh.. ok .. alright, and i am all excited.. no one cares but you and it sucks.
It really sucks you havent gotten much of a return. But just wait they will come in soon enough faster than you can count!

| Hi all. I have only just sent out my invitations about 1 week ago. I was expecting a ton of post over the week with people replying or phoning, but only had 3 (Stepdad, Sister and Uncle). I must be a bit stupid really. Sometimes I forget that other people dont find my wedding as important as I do. I dont mean that in a horrible way. Kinda hope that means not so many are coming, lol.

Amen to that - I too put my e-mail address as an alternative way to RSVP. I betcha I got less than 10 by e-mail. It's going alright now, we've yet to hear from around 20 people, so we won't have that many calls to make. It's very frustrating though!

us too - my immediate family didn't feel the need to rsvp  arghh. I didn't have any reply cards, I put our phone number and email for the rsvp on the invite - how much easier could I have made this for people.
Our due date was the 9th, but since the invitations went out a litttle late I'm giving people a bit more time - it's still annoying.

our rsvp date is today, the 15th, too. when are you getting married? we are next saturday, the 23rd. we had a ton of people not rsvp, too. it's so weird...something so simple to do, but still many don't. anyway, we called the guests we hadn't heard from. we invited about 210 and we have 123 confirmed. i can't wait! what do you have left in the planning stages? how's your weight loss going these final weeks? hope this finds you well!

| We invited 219 in total.. so far there's around 30 not coming and I think 121 coming. What I've been doing is tracking the replies in 3 places - once on the guest list report (this is where I record whether they're coming or not), secondly I put thier names on the place card document, and then thirdly I record their names on the seating plan. So, I think that I should be in pretty good shape.. I think it would be really overwhelming to do it all at once!!!

I am dealing with the same thing. Our RSVP date was June 8th (last Friday) and we still had about 40 people who didn't respond (40 people - really like 20 couples). So I am working dilligently to get going on fiding out if they are coming or not.
We are having assigned seating too and it's one of the last things I have to get done, so I am hoping to get it done this weekend!!

| Our RSVP deadline is Friday, June 15. We have over 80 people who have not replied yet. I'm really not looking forward to making 80+ calls to find out if people are coming to the wedding or not. On the same token, I HAVE to make the calls because we're having assigned seating - and the last thing I want is people showing up who didn't reply and having nowhere to sit!! I'm just complaining - it really irritates me when people don't RSVP!!
