I'm just wondering if any of you here are in relationships with men living across a border from you. My amazing boyfriend lives in Idaho and I'm in Alberta, Canada. Boy is it ever difficult! It's hard to be apart so much. We do end up getting to visit at least once a month for a weekend. It doesn't seem to be enough most times though. I can't wait to be with him all of the time.

Immigration is terribly difficult though. It's hard to go into a country where you can't work for a period of time. As far as we can see it's going to be at least 3 months before I can work, and that's if we get married before I move there. The problem is that I'm terribly impatient! I want to move there now, but I'm doing my best to wait it out!

I just wanted to know if anyone else is facing the same sort of thing, so we could comiserate or at least compare notes!
