Our priest lent us a book called "Together For Life" by Joseph M. Champlin. It has a bunch of traditional wedding/love related passages. We have to choose an old testament, a new testament, psalm and a Gospel of the Lord. Maybe your Reverend has something similar? Not sure about the music, we're not choosing that til we do our big "vow renewal/reception" with all our family next year.

Hello fellow brides and grooms to be I'm looking for some advice. I am going to meet with my Rev in one week to start to make the plans for our ceremony which is on July 7th and I'm really struggling with ceremony music and readings. I had a musician booked to play the guitar for me and unfortunately he cancelled. I do have a singer but I'm not sure what to do about music. Do you think I need someone to play for her, or could she sing solo? I also though of having a cd played for her but is that tacky?? My nephew who is also in the wedding party can play the guitar but my sister is convinced he will panic and not play effectively. And then if I don't have someone playing what do I walk into? EERRR THE STRESS!! And then on to readings. I haven't been to church in a while and I'm just not sure of the really nice ones out there. Any suggestions???
