We're having a Bahama wedding in Nassau in the early afternoon. (Going on a cruise with 15 of our closest friends and family for the event)
Our colors are Black and ivory. My best friend and I (a wedding dress designer.. www.katebennett.net She's super talented, and my maid of honor) are making my dress and using the flower you see on my profile picture (original artwork of mine) as the inspiration for the dress.
If I could though, I'd have a winter wedding with the same colors.

We are going with Black and light pink(so not fuschia... though I would have wanted that more! Damn you comprimise!) Fiancee's mom HATES the colours.... but it ain't her day!

| We're having a July evening wedding and my hubby to be is in the Air Force so I chose navy blue, a deep red, and white (read red white and blue). I didn't want it to be an obnoxious red, white, and blue so I deepened the colors. A lot of people don't even notice until they think about it. I wanted it subtle like that but I also wanted people to know I am so proud of my Air Force husband!

| I am doing black/ivory and some shade of red, I am still undecided. My dress is a light gold so I will incorporate a touch of gold in the mix. Odd colors for a spring wedding, but I am not into brights or pastels.

Red and white for our Christmas wedding. =) We;re having it in a colonial mansion in VA which will be all decorated up for Christmas anyway, so red and white should fit in with everything!
Then for our 'second reception' party with a bunch more people, we're doing MY colors- bright pink green and orange flowers, lots of fruit set up, blue and green and pink Jones Soda bottles with our pictures, and a giant pink/yellow/green cake. I love color, haha ^_^

| It was no contest deciding our primary color - which is royal blue (a favorite for both of us). For the accent color we went with champagne gold

My wedding is in the Caribbean so we went with chocolate brown and sandy beige. Its on the 26th! Eek! I'm so nervous and excited.

It's so "us" because we are both very into sailing, boating, the ocean, we grew up 2 miles from the beach. I had no trouble getting the green light from the FH because the colors are so masculine. I'm just not a pink frilly butterflies person. At all.

| Our colors are shades of purple & silver. Not too tough a decision for me since my fav. color is purple. The only input my fiance had was not too dark or too light on the purple please. lol

| My ring is an heirloom so the whole wedding is based on that theme. My bridesmaids are wearing cornflower blue dresses with a sheer black overlay and we will all carry pink mini spider gerbera daisies. My dress is off-white and I will have other heirloom jewelry as well. The guestbook looks like an old autograph book and the programs will resemble b/w old photo books :-)

My wedding is in winter with a theme of impending spring so my colors are classy and simple...
Black and Ivory
but with pink accents. The girls will carry pick calla lillies and my centerpieces are tall vases of cherry blossoms (my favorite!)

| BLACK_MAGIC - we have almost the same colors! Mine is minus the aqua. We are also going with the tropical beach theme with Rapsberry, lime and tangerine accents! I love it that I'm not the only one with bright colors anymore!

| My color is red, like a red rose, not like a fire engine! Everything is going to be white (my dress and the bridesmaids flowers, tux shirts) with the black tux's and then the bridesmaids will be in the red, my flowers will be red, the flowers for the guys will be red, little splashes of red, to make everything stand out in its own way!

My colors were my easiest decision! My favorite color is purple, so we are doing shades of purple (Grape and lavender), silver and white.

We're doing an autumn theme with more reds because my family is Chinese. The reception will be mostly reds, but the ceremony is autumn themed :)
I wanted a red wedding gown but my mother flipped out on me :(

Hey there!
Stumbled upon this thread by accident and I love all the colors you ladies have picked out. I am not a bride-to-be...got married this past October though. We used a deep blue and champagne for our colors. We let the flowers do the talking. Orange roses, red Gerber daisies, and blue delphinium in my boquet with my girls each having different colored boquets of gerber daisies (red, orange, yellow, and two shades of pink). Congrats to all and good luck with all of your planning! It will be here before oyu know it!

I'm going with the hot pink and orange with a Asian theme to my wedding. My MOH dress is a very bright pink. There is has been a little bit of yellow added here and there to my colors too. I can't wait!
