| i like the idea of vow renewal... it makes you remember you want to and CHOSE to be with this person, for better or worse.

| I've been married for almost 6 years now. We had a civil ceremony with only a handfull of people (almost litterally). So we are planning a vow renewal for our 10th anniversary and we are going all out. We're doing it for several reasons. One is that we want to show our friends and families that two people can still be in love after ten years. Second, I want the wedding of my dreams.

| we got married wt all the traditions and stuff last Nov. but i want to change my wedding band as it practically falls off my finger and the jeweler said he couldn't make it smaller b/c of the pattern. so i'm talking to DH whether to buy them and take them to the priest so that they go through all the blessing ritual or to have a vow renewal...don't know yet. ;)plus DH totally loves our wedding bands (had them since our engagement on Sept 2002), so we need to find ideas right now

| Anyone already married but doing a vow renewal? My husband and I did not get married in a church and so are doing that June 9, but have been married 4 years.
