i'm hoping to do a lot of my own stuff.
Invites, music, and favors (cakes in a jar) plus most of the decorations. my mom is super crafty as well so I know she'll be helping me.

Are you doing alot of DIY stuff? I'm sooo not crafty so i didnt. I did make my shower invites though. And I'm making my shower favors, but the rest i just didnt have time for.

I'm a Michigan bride.
September 1st in 07. Fall is def a popular time in Michigan. I got the last open September/October date at my venue.

| Red, black, and white? That sounds awesome! I bet that color scheme will look great. I'd really like a unique color scheme like that, but it's hard for me to imagine what would look good. Lately I've really been into green, so I'm thinking of using green as one of the colors. For spring, I also like a coral color - it's nice because it's pinkish but not too pink, know what I mean?

Yeah the fall is awesome here in Michigan. It's become such a popular time for weddings :)
Thought of colors yet?
Mine are red black and white. I love it!! Everything is accented with polka dots and stripes. It will be fun.

| Wow! That's great that your planning is done. A lot of my friends had so many things to wrap at the last minute. I'm excited to get into some real planning. We're thinking either October, November, or December if we have it in Michigan. One option we've thought about is having a destination wedding to South Carolina; if we do that it will be in April or May.

My planning is done LOL. Just a few small things left
(ie...groomsmen and bridesmaid gifts, aisle runner, renting a car for the honeymoon...yadda yadda).
Planning is soo much fun once you dive in. Are you thinking of any certain time of year?
