Things are going pretty well. I've lost a couple of pounds, and I think I'm shaping up a bit. Or I just feel better about myself since I'm trying and think I'm getting smaller. Either way, I'll take it.
I had to push my fitting back another week because of a scheduling conflict, so I have a little more time than I thought. Yay!
Onward.

it is just around the corner for us. i'm so excited! our invitations go out this week, so it's definitely starting to feel real now. just a few short weeks really.
my diet hasn't been fabulous but i did go to the gym today, which i'm glad about.
we need to buy our rings soon. my goodness! yea!

Well, I'm back on track. I lost some ground with the holidays, but I feel like we're really closing in on W-Day now. I have extra movtivation. 70 days to go!
I'm so excited. We bought our rings today. I keep taking mine out and wearing it while DF's at work. For some reason, this is the thing that really makes me feel like I'm getting married. I just keep staring at it. I guess it's just more concrete than any other wedding planning stuff. *happy dance*

Oh yeah, I totally understand. My eating habits are my demise as well. I'm recommiting to my plan as of today. I've got about 60 days until we leave for Mexico for our wedding. I can't believe it's right around the corner for us.
I managed to get 2 good workouts in over the holidays. My foods were not good. Yesterday especially. But that's ok. I will forge ahead.
We can do this! Keep me posted.

WTG with going to the gym!
My week has been ok. My eating has been less than stellar. I think my goal for the weekend is to try not to GAIN. Losing seems nearly impossible at this point. I went to the gym Mon, Tues, and I plan to go tonight. So far that part is going pretty well. I just don't see the payoffs as well because of my eating. Story of my life.

| whoo-hoo! i made it to the gym this morning. i'm so pleased. another check mark for cardio, strength training, and abs. i think i'm on a role. i'm going to try hard to stick with it.

You can recover. Don't let it get you down. How's it going this week?
My eating hasn't been great this week either, but I'm trying. And I did make it to the gym today so I've got one cardio, one strength and one abs down for the week. I have to make it to the gym basically everyday for the rest of the week to meet my goals... I'm going to do my best although I doubt I can really make that happen b/c of my busy schedule this week. I am going to shoot for 2 more days at the gym this week.

Holiday party at work followed by breakfast for dinner at Bob Evans with DF. Crap. About 5,000 calories for the day. DEFINITELY not good. The only good thing I see is that I journaled it and started back today.
I'd love a buddy to check in with. My goals: 2x spin/week 3x running/week follow nutrition plan (my biggest problem) follow Carly's weight lifting plan for me ABS abs ABS try some training sessions again after the holidays

i'd love to work with you. my first fitting is 1/13. and my wedding is 3/4. i've been working with a personal trainer for about 6 weeks and now she's out for the holidays and won't be back until 1/8. so i'm basically on my own up to my first fitting.
want to set some goals together?
here's what i think i need to be doing:
at least 30 min cardio 5X / week strength training at least 3X / week abs at least 5X / week
if i could commit to this plan i think i will be in great shape. of course, all of this is in addition to my spark diet plan. for me, it's exercise where i need to push myself more.
what are your goals for the next 5 weeks?

the message board really help me to think about where I amwith my goal and to read everyone else's motivations and inspiring stories.
Also make sure to check out others' spark pages. I find I normally also enjoy their favorite articles etc.

Ok, so I ordered my dress a little big (had to size up to fit some areas). I've since gained five pounds or so. I'm sure it will fit and need some alterations when I go try it...BUT I suddenly realized that I REALLY REALLY want to be closer to my goal for my wedding because I want to be in a bikini for my honeymoon (have never worn one). I have about 30 pounds to lose overall. It's doable to be within 10 pounds of my goal by 3/10/07, I think.
My first fitting is 1/18/07, and I want to be closer to where I'll be for the wedding by then. That gives me 5 weeks to get myself really going on the weightloss thing. I really need to commit to this. I am going to start checking in here to make myself accountable.
