Sometimes you'll pay to have it redone. I would hold off just explain to them that our planning on lossing weight. They should be pretty understanding. Also don't go to small thinking that you'll lose a set amount. Once you get down to a good size get it fitted and then maintain that weight. To many times people go smaller and then don't walways make that smaller size! Hope this helped

didn't u ask them ahead what would happen if u need alterations? u can always have them done at other bridal shop. my gown was on corset and even though i lost some between the time i bough it and the day i wore it , it didn't fall off me but it was pretty loose.

Hi! I have a question. I bought my dress through David's (so I already have it). Since I bought it I started a new job and gained about 8 lbs. I want to start losing this gung ho in Jan. (my wedding is in May) but they want me to do alterations in January! Should I put them off, or do they do more than one? I'm all worried about this now!
