Hi I am new here. My wedding is Nov 10th. I am slow moving on the weight loss and have a small goal for now, but my ultimate goal is to be back to my normal weight by our honeymoon, which in May of next year.

By the way, where to you get the weight loss tickers and the virtual models?

I think you're supposed to get it 6 months before the wedding. Good luck, you have plenty of time to get healthy. I'm sure you'll look like a different person 9-10 months from now.

Yeah, check out theknot.com, they have a checklist of things to do, a budget you can keep online, and ideas from other people. Very useful!

u've got a lot of time! i started planning our wedding this March and the wedding is on Nov 4th!!!! :)

u can look up wedding sites . they always have lists wt things to do. abt the gown, talk to the salon and see what they say. i had the possibility to get it one month b4 the wedding (well 6 wks b4 cause i didn't want to risk anything abt timing).

You've got plenty of time to get things done. Just get a good book or planner and stay organized.

As for the dress, it's safer to order now and get it taken in when it arrives. If you wait, then you may have to rush order it, which is expensive and not really a sure thing anyway. And from what I understand, most brides end up having to have the dress altered no matter if they lose weight or not.

Oh no! My wedding day has moved up a year! so instead of july 2008 its july 2007! I dont know what to do. Where should I start? I've started with a personal trainer to start losing the weight, but besides that i haven't gotten anything else done. Anyone have any suggestions? Oh... and if i'm losing weight what should I do about a wedding dress should I buy it now and ask them to take it in later????
