I agree - think about looking even more fabulous! And get some quotes on alteration costs while you're at it. It won't be as much as you think, and it will be worth the cost of alterations to be a spectatular bride. Besides, even if it fit perfectly when you placed the order, the one you receive may not, and you'll have to get it altered anyway. Worse yet, what if they do send the right size and you've gained weight back! Better to stay fit now than to feel you need to starve for two weeks before the wedding so you can squeeze into the dress. It's not comfy!

I bought my dress about a month ago, while it fit perfectly and even made my waist look tiny I still want to look amazing in it. Wouldn't you rather need alterations and look amazing with a curvy figure in that dress than just skipping the diet and exercise because it already fits? Plus, imagine having more energy, feeling lighter, healthier, and being on the receiving end of compliment after compliment!

That is how I try to keep myself motivated. It isn't just to fit into the dress, it is to feel and look absolutely amazing.

i got my gown on Sept 12 and the wedding is on Nov 4th. i have a huge motivation now even the dress is on corset, the skirt is a perfect fit and if gain it won't fit me. i actually lost more than 2 lbs since i got it.

if ur dress is a perfect fit and u can't alter it, just set ur CW as GW and u'll be in maintenance mode.

frm personal experience i tell u that if u react "good" to stress u'll lose instead of gaining (my case LOL). i can't eat much, i am always running to do something...u know the drill

if your motivation was to just fit in your dress it's going to be hard to continue...you need to be motivated by your life and how much better you will feel to keep living a healthy lifestyle...you have plenty of time for alterations...you'll feel even more amazing if you accomplish your goals while wearing your perfect dress...good luck to you!congrats on your dress!

Hi Ladies!!!
I need some motivation!!! I'm getting married in February of 2007 and I became a member of this site to get motivated to lose some weight. I was doing really good in the beginning, eating right and shedding some pounds. Well, I went and bought my dress last week and it fit me perfectly!!! ;-) I'm so excited. now, being that the dress fits me perfectly, i'm losing my motivation. Before my motivation was to fit into a dress, but now, this one is so perfect. i need some help please!!!
