| what do you do when one of the parents is not supportive of the marriage?..my fiance's dad will be attending but basically has told us he will never support our choice of getting married...should i still get him a parents gift?...

| We are going to give our parents a hamper with bits and pieces in it that we know they will love cause my parents don't want a present as we can't particularly afford it, so hamper sounds like a nicer option than nothing at all

| We are planning to do engraved picture frames.

| I think the framed photos are a great idea! We will probably do something similar.

| I kind of skipped this step - we pretty much paid for the wedding, and were out of money at this point. Afterwards, we made a DVD slide show of the wedding, and sent it with framed photos to the parents.
