| Losing is hard and suddenly I have this conundrum - my dress came in and fits perfectly! I don't need an alterations. So now I don't want to lose much before the wedding because if the dress fits perfectly as is, why mess with it? But we are going on a cruise and I am afraid I am not going to look good in my suit so now I am concentrating on toning up.

| Hey I'm new here and also an October 21st bride. It's coming so fast it makes it tough to lose weight. I am also going to Hawaii for my honeymoon so obviously I want to look good. I am hoping to lose about 20 lbs by then or at least get close although I'm running out of time.

| I am getting married Oct.12, 2006. I think this site is great and I plan on using it even after the wedding. I think it is valuable to not only lose weight but learn what foods to eat, portion control and the importance of exercising. Congrats on the upcoming wedding!!

| Ah. I do have workout tapes but right now I just don't have the time for them. So I stick to walking every day and doing the strength training every other day. I know what you mean about getting bored. I'm the same way.

| well the bust started to diminish without my help...LOL i don't do the recommended SP exercises but i do add the exercises i do frm their strength page (mainly arms, shoulders). i also started Winsor Pilates 20 min workout DVD and actually did the entire thing today LOL ;) i walk a lot wt my fiance, at least 3 times a week. while on SP i've also done tae bo and belly dancing but got bored. i get bored very very easily...i hope to be able to do more Pilates though cause they are supposed to be excellent for the core ;)

| I found SP through recommendation. :o) Do you just do the strength exercises that they give you every other day or more than that? I have been walking each morning and then doing the strength training exercises that SP says to do on my strength days. I definitely notice that my thighs are sore from the lunges. I'd like to tone my arms and lose inches in my belly, thighs and hips. Hopefully not in my bust because I might end up concave!

| i've found SP by chance and loved it. when i decided what gown i'll have i started using dumbbells and i could really see a difference in abt 1 month...now i have nicely defined muscles ;) i've lost more than 8 inches all over the body and most came from my cheast (ackkk), waist (yey!) and thighs (yey again!). i've also lost frm my arms but built muscles as well ;)

| You're right after me. :o) I've not lost anything so far but it seems like all my attempts have been doomed. I haven't been able to stick with anything. I am hoping that at least with this, even if I don't lose much weight, I see a difference in how I look. I want to be more toned and I think this will definitely help my arms before the wedding. No jiggle!

welcome! my wedding is on nov 4th (this year) and i totally know what you mean! i've lost a lot so far and i am hoping for another 10 lbs by the wedding (at least)
but i am losing more easily wt all the stress and running frm here to there.. ;)

| Welcome!! :) I'm a bride as well, who came here for the same purpose, and I just love it!! It really helps to motivate me, which is the hardest part for me. Hope you like it here too! Congrats on getting married! :D

| Hello everyone! I am so happy to have found this community on these boards. Losing weight is hard enough but add in the wedding planning aspect and it makes it even harder what with how much time planning and everything takes up! Now I know there are some folks here going through the same thing as me! I'm getting married on Oct. 21 and we're honeymooning on a southern Carribean cruise that leaves Oct. 23. I want to look great for my honeymoon. I'm looking to lose about 17 pounds but not necessarily all before the wedding. I just want to look better and more fit that I do now by the wedding but, hey, if I lose it all, that would be great!
