| We are planning our own wedding too. My Dad is dead and my Mom is terminal, so there is no one. But that's okay, we had a year to plan from engagement to wedding and it's been fun.

| I am planning a wedding for the second time around. I am planning it without help from my family this time. This time I will have the right man and the right type of ceremony for us not anyone else. I am inviting them all to share by being there but the rest is up to us.

| Anyone on a second or third marriage???? I was married the first time for 30 years (long story..a Lifetime movie script). My first wedding was very small and was planned in a rush (leave during the VietNam war). While the wedding I am currently planning is not huge, it will be much more lovingly planned and elegant than the first time around. Just wondering how everyone elses first and second compare.
