| Ama, I know what you mean about getting the engagment pictures done...he had to talk me into getting ours done...They way they did them I don't look to bad at all..Everyone loved the pictures...You should not try to worry about them that much, just keep telling your self that those are going to be the last pictures that you have done of your self looking like that..Since you are working out and trying to lose weight...I will have to see what I can do so I can get some or one of our engagment pictures up on here so you can see how they came out...If you would like to see them...

| Kim - That's what I keep telling myself, too. I'm going Wednesday. Now I just have to talk myself into getting engagement pictures and announcement in the paper.

| Ama, I know what you mean about going to look for dresses now..I was thinking that I really didn't want to start looking but if I get a dress now and keep losing weight just think about how much they are going to have to alter from it... I wish all the best to everyone out there and I can't wait to talk to everyone more :~)

| I think I'm going to look for dresses next week. Even though I want to lose weight, the dress can always be altered. I think that'll be inspiring me, and I'll feel sooo much better at fitting when it has to be taken in.

Hi, I'm going to get married in august as well. I'm being pushed in to looking for a dress...really don't want to at this point. I'm thinking about looking and using the pictures as inspiration...

| Hi there...Im get married 8/4/2007...I'm in the same boats as both of you...I know what you mean about not wanting to get your engagment pictures done...I din't want to get ours done but I did and they were not that bad.. I have not started looking for my wedding dress yet since I really want to lose some weight first... I would like to talk to you both and anyone else about your wedding and also about losing weight...

| Hi everyone! This is my first post. I'm getting married 8/11/07 and I'm really needing to get started losing this extra weight. I'm hesitating to get engagement pictures, look for a dress, and even have our engagement party until I feel better... I'll welcome anyone's advice on how to get started!
