Not Canadian but marrying one! We're set to go in about 6 weeks time, on Sept 16th in Montreal.
My fiancee is Russian by birth so we have her contingent from Russia and Germany coming. My family is global so I have representatives from the West Coast, Australia and Malaysia, not to mention friends from the UK. Planning this has given me a better appreciation for the UN!
Plans are going well but it seems we've done nothing else for the past couple of months.

I am 19 days from my wedding... freaking out that dress will be tight cuz I was bad for a while.
in 19 days I will be safely in Canada and yes, I will have at least a piece of my cake! : )
We are spending most of our time out of the Falls area in Niagara on the Lake & St Catherine's visiting wineries, shopping in the little shops and hanging by Lake Ontario for the view.

Hey there fellow Canadian brides!! I'm actually just over 7 weeks away from the big day and hoping to lose those last 8 lbs by then. I live in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario and am getting marrieed here. I can't wait, everything is finally starting to come together. I just wish I had found SparkPeople a few months earlier so that I would have had the motivation to start getting fit back then.
We're planning our honeymoon for December so that we skip hurricane season. We're going to the Mayan Riviera and staying at the Moon Palace Resort. I can't wait. There's just so much going on right now I really hope I'm able to stick to the healthy eating and working out 5-6 times a week. I want to look and feel great on the big day!

Iworked a wedding this past Saturday, whew what a debacle. Home garden style wedding, Mum & Dad providing everything including their home for the setting. Got a lot of "what NOT to do's" for our upcoming ceremony. Great cake, I did get the bakery name! Was the first crack in my resolve to be good alll day long, but what can you do when the Mother of the Groom brings the very last piece to you and says, You of all people deserve a bite of cake, we wouldn't have made it through the day without you, dang I just accepted, of course!

PrincessMelokia, PEI is absolutley gorgeous especially in the summer months, although I might be a bit bias! Anyway it would be an awesome place for a honeymoon, lots of great white or red sand beaches, and awesome scenery, plus we are known for our friendly people! | hi kosta. . . i used to live in ontario for a couple of years and niagra falls is absolutely gorgeous. i don't know if they still do it, but when i was there last, at night when it's really dark, they do light on the falls that change color every couple of minutes. . .i thought that was awesome

how about american coming to Canada for the whole package!
we are from Ohio and are heading to Niagara Falls to be "traditonal" honeymooners who elope.
it will be fun as Canada is our favorite place to travel, folks friendly, land pretty and can read the language for the most part. My french is rusty.
He has lost 3 pant sizes and I am down 2... but we think the stress in the next month before our wedding with the planning and other stuff means this will be as low as we go for now....
