| I am a 2008 bride!! 05.17.08 I have my goals set pretty high!! I'm hoping to lose 70 lbs. by our wedding day. I would love to help any of you girls out and always appreciate advice that's headed my way!! :o) Congratulations 2008 brides!!

hooray for so many 2008 brides! i seriously thought i was the ONLY one!

Not engaged yet, but we're hoping to get married at the end of January, 2008.
(We want him to be back in the states for awhile before he asks my folks and actually pops the question. He's been stationed in Italy for almost 2 years, now.)
But my goal right now is to lose about 20 lbs before I see him again in October--it will have been 4 and a half months for us.
But I'm so glad I'm not the only one planning for an '08 wedding! Sometimes I get made to feel like such a dork for planning a year and a half ahead--nevermind that I don't even have a ring yet!

Hi. I'm Kat. My fiance and i got engaged in December 2005, but will be getting married possibly in July or August 2008. ( I didn't want to plan a wedding during law school!). Everyone is always surprised at how we dont want to get married sooner, but ithought a long engagement would be great for me to lose the 40 pounds I need to take off. I'm so happy there are other people that are planning really early too :)
Oh. Can anyone tell me how to make a weight tracker?

| I'm getting married April 2008. I want to wear a low back dress so I really need to tone up. No more flabby arms and back fat. I'm glad that I'm starting early so that by next summer I'll be ready to dress shop. It's really good motivation for me.

| Hello everyone, I'm getting married in May of 08, trying to lose the weight by next year though so I know what size dress to buy. (losing 100lbs by then, no clue what my size will be) How is everyone?

| I have found that having the time for our weight loss is only one of the perks of planning early. YOu also get lower prices ono lots of things for booking early ... and you get plenty of time to make sure that you are getting what you want, how you want, where you want. And that is how it should be.

I'm getting married on 29th May 08. I know it seems like a long way off but I need the extra time to shift some of these pounds.
I am going for a strapless dress so I need to tone up my arms and upper back area and belive me, it'll take that long to do it!

| I am getting married on January 12, 2008. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one planning so early. I have a lot or weight to lose by then - 116 pounds, but I do have a while to do it in, almost a year and a half.

| Well my wedding isn't in 2008, but I know the feeling of like, "Am I the only one planning for the future?" My wedding is in 2009, and I haven't had anyone to really talk about it with because everyone thinks I am planning too soon ...

| I just got engaged in may, and we have set the date--June 21, 2008. It is our dating anniversary...we will be together 7 years on our wedding day. I am looking to lose 25 lbs and firm up by the time i get married...but in all reality, i need to be there before i buy my dress...im starting to look next june? Are there any other 2008 brides out there yet?
