Well, everyone is differant of course and it all depends on what and how much you are doing... but I have lost 35 lbs (4 inches from my waist) in just over 4 months. It can be done! Just make a plan and stick with it! Make sure you watch your bad carbs (white bread, sweets, pie, cookie, etc), sugar and salt intake. Also make sure to drink lots of water!

it's hard to estimate how much u'll loose but the only thing you can do is workout out hard and eat right. i've lost almost 9 lbs in May and only 4.5 lbs in June...but i am down frm XXL to L in jeans and frm XL to S in t-shirts!

If I were you, I would keep it and keep trying. A little tight may be little looser in a month or so after diet and exercise. Having this dress fit nice is a good goal to try to reach. And here at SP it is all about reaching the little goals that add up to big rewards.

Keep trying, and you will loce weight. If you are losing fat on a consistent basis, then you WILL lose inches. And if it isn't going fast enough, you always have the option of stepping it up. You have at least two months ... give yourself a chance. Just inform the bride that you are worried about this ... but don't give up, and reassure her that you are trying hard to be able to be there for her.

Saturday I picked up my bridesmaids dress from the bride. She ordered this dress without me being there and the dress is discontinued. I tried it on Monday evening and its too small! I can get it zipped and it's on but its super tight. The wedding is in September... Does anyone know possibly how many inches a person can lose if they're exercising regularly and watching what they eat? I just need rough estimates so I'll know whether to keep trying to fit in this dress or should I just call it quits?
