thanks for the feedback jenn. we just got back from huatulco and i'm so very excited. i'm glad we were able to head down there on our own to really check everything out first hand. i definitely feel more comfortable slugging everyone out there now that i've seen how beautiful it is.
how far in advance did you send save the date / invites? did you send both or just the one combined with all necessary planning information?

| We had a semi-destination wedding. We got married in Florida, but moved here 1 month before the wedding. One piece of advice is really check out the hotels and the rooms. We looked online and they looked great, but once the guests showed up, they were a bit run-down and some rooms were bug infested (we had really bad storms a few nights and the hotel is on the water). It was no one's fault except our own. I should have really checked it out other than just looking at the nice rooms.

I am so happy for you. You must be so excited to go to a beautiful place and start planning your exotic wedding. How exciting!
As for us, we plan on getting married in Bermuda next year towards the end of August. We will be taking a cruise from either NY or NJ and once we arrive, we will tie the knot on the beach. We certainly have a lot of planning to do!

| Hi. We're going to Huatulco, Mexico... leaving in 2 days, I'm so excited! Where are you planning to have your wedding? We haven't decided on a month yet. We're still at the very beginnings of the planning. This trip is kind of the kick off, I guess. Thier high season runs from Christmas to Easter, so we're going to avoid that time. I'm thinking of maybe November, the very end of April, or June.
