| Don't worry i think this happens to most brides! It happened to me! I found the perfect dress and it was the only one like it...at the time.... after i ordered it and everything they started making them left and right but with different styles for the top. (my dress has a corset (sp?) top and the bottom is gathered in spots with beading at the gathered areas) I kept seeing them and comparing them to mine and i would start bawling because i thought i liked other ones better. Everyone assured me that mine is gorgeous and that i picked that one for a reason. After i went and put it back on I felt A LOT better!! I had my first fitting last saturday and it looked great! I think after you put it on and get it fitted you will feel a lot better about your dress! I hope this helps!! ~Becca

| I really did not like my dress when I tried it on in the shop. I wanted to cry, but I was just nervous and no one was there to tell me how it looked since I went alone. I could bearly fit into it and I had rolls of fat coming out the top and I had back cleavage. But last week, I tried it on after it had been altered and me working out for 4 months and it fits perfect and I really love it. In fact I went down a whole bra size and the fat in front is gone, I have to get a smaller bra now but I do feel like a princess and I am finally ready to wear it.

| Thanks so much for your replies. I will go back to the shop and try it on. I had a bad food day yesterday so I want to wait a couple of days. If I really don't like it then I guess I'll take it from there. I'm the type of person that likes to try on EVERYTHING before making my decision so because it was only the 2nd shop, that makes me even more unsure -- do you know what I mean?

My sister went through the same thing and so did I. I tried on my dress again after the pictures and changed my mind - i decided I liked it. Sure, it's not the perfect dress I have to say, but it's still beautiful and the I know my future hubby to be will think I'm gorgeous - really, it's not the dress that matters. It's all in the mind....so go with your gut.

Maybe it truly is just the pictures not doing it justice if you loved it at the shop. Will you have another opportunity to try it on and see how you feel about it? I ended up going through 2 dresses, the first was too small (never buy a wedding dress while pregnant, lol) Then the second was too big and I was worried but once fitted it looked great. I felt like such a princess!!!

Hi all -- I just saw pictures of myself in the gown and hated it on me!!! I'm really upset. I fell in love with it at the shop -- it has so much more detail and sparkle than the pictures! I felt beautiful in it but after seeing those pictures, I feel I look really fat and the dress is plain. I'm really nervous that when it comes in I'll really hate it and have to wear it. Do I try and order another dress? Everyone says that it will look so different fitted, in white and that the pictures didn't do it justice but I'm really nervous.
