A park might be nice. Do you have any boat cruises in your area? I am thinking that with 50 guest you might be able to charter a boat for an event. Also, most non-chain restaurants have rooms large enough for 50 or so people. You might want to think of that, so you don't have to do so much on your own. Outdoor weddings can really cost a good deal if you plan to have it catered and rent dance floors, chairs, tent, etc. Just a couple of thoughts! Good luck!

Yes, you can get married at a park. Usually you can check out the information online to get all the details. My sister got married at a state park about 6 years ago. It was $400 for the gazeboo, the chairs, the reception area, and the parking for the guests.
Don't know where you live, but have you thought about a small restaurant? We are getting married at a restaurant in August. They have a deck outside that has an awesome view of the ocean. Then we are heading inside for the reception.
My suggestion is to go to a bridal show. They are overwhelming, but you will get a better idea of the types of places that hold weddings.

Yes, you can get married in a park (just check with who is marrying you as you may not be able to according to your religion). Many parks have gazebos, etc., that you can rent.
