| I figured I would take some wide ribbon or sheer material and just wrap myself up in a bow. Because everyone is right. it will end up on the floor.

| I think I am going to take a trip to Victoria's secret and find a some sexy lingerie. Thinking a light shade of purple or white. I know the night of the wedding... I am going to be so exhausted! So much emotions and running around will be totally used up!

Im a BIG BIG fan of sexy lingerie..! I am a VIP Victoria's Secret shopper lol..or well, I should be!

| About the floor - I was in a lingerie store once with a friend, trying on different things, and at some point she just threw a top on the floor and said, "yeah, that looks great there. Okay, I'm done." I nearly fell over laughing.

| My friends has a personal shower for me and I got some really cute stuff. I had to exchange one outfit because it was the wrong size, and I got this really cute white number with pink ribbon on it-perfect for the first night =)

I had a friend who always said "Lingerie is like parsley. It looks good on the plate but in the end it's just in the way."

I've been thinking about this same thing. FI is a major comic book geek, and has a thing for Wonder Woman. At Christmas, I found and bought some Wonder Woman "undies" kinda like grown-up Underoos! I was going to wear it as a "Christmas gift", but we both got terrible colds and were too sick to "play" at the time. Then I thought I would do it for his birthday, but again we had colds. I'm also really self-concious about doing something like that, but I know he'll get a kick out of it.
I figure I'll either save it for the wedding night (although like some people have said, I think the dress will do it for him just fine) or maybe for the first night of the honeymoon.
Silly, but fun and I think he'll like it.

| I have no clue, especially since he thinks me in pjs is a lot sexier than lingerie (he loves boxers and t-shirts or those girly nightshirts...and his favorite pjs of mine are a long, semi-sheer night shirt...go figure). I might have to look into that, though...he he.

| I like the black and pink idea, I love those colors together. I might have to pick a different color for the wedding night though since I already own so much black and pink. Maybe i'll be really adventerous and wear something black and levendar lol.

Black is definitely not morbid at all, it's very sexy :)
I think if I do anything it will be red, he loves that color on me (in anything, not just underwear, lol)

lolz sarah - my fiance has already made rumblings that lingerie for the wedding night is 'nice' but seeing the bride in the dress is all he needs }:)
..but if i do end up bringing something it will be along the lines of fishnets and docs (boots) with something corset'ish on top.

I'm not sure what I'll wear. I doubt there will be any time for me to change from dress to lingerie, considering my hubby-to-be will have me on the bed in my dress....haha. So....I think that I'm going to wear light blue lacy underwear...something old, something, new, something borrowed, something blue! I don't need anything on top for my dress, so that's it!

The tradition is to wear white on the wedding night. That's fine and good...but I'm not sure how into tradition I'm feeling...especially since the first night will be spent with an airline full of people on the way to Europe.
ANYWAY, I'm thinking of something black but some of my gal pals think that's too "Morticia Adams". I dunno...I really like black. Does black seem too morbid? What are y'all planning for your "first night" duds?
