I'm on seasonale, and I'm not worrying about it. If the time gets nearer and it looks like it'll be right around the wedding or honeymoon, I'll just adjust my schedule a little.

I know I shouldn't without talking to the dr, but I've been on the pill for so long now, and done so much screwy stuff by accident with it, that I know that my body won't react badly to a slight change. I'd probably just bump the sugar pills by a month.

I totally feel for any woman in this worrysome predicament. Sure, you have the rest of your lives, but you can't really get back this precious time. The other ladies' advice is awesome. Talk to your doc for sure. He or she may be able to help.

For about 5 months, my cycle was set exactly to the date of our wedding and it had me in hysterics. So much so that the stress delayed my cycle by a few weeks. If all goes as planned next month, then Aunt Flow will completely miss the trip to Italia in May.

eeeek! I'm scared of this, too. my cycle is currently at the begnning of the month, but my wedding falls on october 21st. i guess it's a good idea to start getting on b.c. asap to regulate my cycle and keep it at the same time of the month. any advice?

no problem... I had to track mine after I was diagnosed with Lupus. My fiance and I had a serious talk about me going off the pill (pros/cons). We decided that since the pills weren't doing a darn thing for me, it's like me eating money.

Enjoy the site... it has lots to offer!

JoJo, thanks for the link! It'll be great for tracking my PMDD medication. I try to remember to put it on my calendar in Outlook (in code, in case anyone sees) but half the time I completely forget!

Mine is so messed up from the pill and lupus that i had to stop taking them. I am registered on www.mymonthlycycles.com and it calculates your period, ovulation and keeps track of symptoms. I love that site. My cycle is so screwing that I am about 44 days between.

Try just calling your doctor and asking. When I call my doctor's office, a nurse usually calls me back that day, and she generally can answer my question.

Ooh, or ask your pharmacist! They go to school for a long time and would probably know something like that.

Can I just delay the start of my next pack of pills? I'm not having sex right now anyway, so it's not the getting pregnant part I'm worried about. If I just take the sugar pills and then delay the start of the next pack in order to have a period free wedding/honeymoon, that's okay right? I dont want to have to schedule ANOTHER appt. with the doctor.

Definitely talk to your doctor - just skipping your sugar pills can depend on the type of pill you take. A friend of mine just tried it once, and it didn't work quite right. She didn't get pregnant, but she had some bleeding anyway.

If you're not on the pill, or yours isn't good for this, you could ask for Seasonale - it's a 3 month pack that only has sugar pills in the last month, so you only get 4 periods a year. I haven't calculated mine out yet, but this is what I'm planning if I find a problem.

I skipped a week in February to miss the wedding (just started a new active pack of pills rather than taking the sugar pills), and am skipping my cycle in April to miss the honeymoon too!

Are you on the pill? I'm having the same issue. I'm going to the Dr. within the next few weeks to see if I can skip a period (by just continuing on the active pills) a month or two in advance to change when mine will come. I've talked to people about it, but overwhelmingly-they say to talk to your doctor...

I just calculated this morning that my dear Aunt Flo will be visiting me during my honeymoon. Is there anything you can do to delay it? I really don't want to be bloated like a pig and irritable during my wedding/honeymoon. I'll be sure to be an emotional witch then!!

Any ideas or solutions??? PLEEEEEEZZZZEEE!!!
