| Mine is June 23, 2007. My birthday is in July, so we decided to make it a little before then. I didn't want to be like those kids who only gets one set of presents because his birthday is too close to Christmas!!! I know. That makes me sound spoiled!!! But it was his idea!!!

Thanks! Our town isn't too small and their seems to be lots of wedding people around. I'll get started on that cake!

| The only significance I know of is that it is 7-7-7 which falls on a Saturday and that almost never happens. For example 6-6-6 falls on a Tuesday. As well 7 is most peoples lucky number. There are going to be lots of people who choose the date simply for its number or its rarity. Thank you btw. And start on the cake first. When I went to look for cakes I had to really look since there was almost no one listed in the phone book for wedding cakes. Mind you I don't know where you live, my city is 'small' compared to some places. I live in Saskatoon and have lived here all my life but people who have lived elsewhere like Edmonton will say we are a small city. When I did find cake people some of them had stopped and failed to remove their websites or cards from the wedding stores. It was very frustrating. Well good luck with your photographer and the rest, let me know how it goes.

Do you know if their is some significance to the date? I am calling the photographer tomorrow to set up a time to meet her. I don't know about the flowers and cake yet, but I guess I should get going. Next week is Spring Break at my school, so I guess that I know what I will be doing all week! Congratulations on getting everything booked already. I'm jelous now!!

| I agree with your vendors about getting everything booked as soon as possible. I had everything booked with deposits given by late Feb early March except the florist. I have an appointment with a florist that I'm pretty sure I'm going with tomorrow. They are not just trying to get your money, it really is a popular day. We went to see a photographer on a Sat that my friend had used for her wedding. She thought he was great and when we met him we loved him too. I knew he was going to Vegas for a vacation on Wed so I knew about how much time I had to get in touch with him again. Anyways when we left we talked about it and decided to go with him. On Sun I called to ask what would be a good time to drop off a deposit on Monday. It ended up he was going out of town on monday for the day but we could meet in an hour, so we did. Afterwards he told me he had had a phone call from another couple who wanted to meet with him after he got back from Vegas for July 7 2007 as well. So if we had waited a couple weeks to decide or get back to him we could have lost him. So if you know what you want don't wait otherwise you'll have more stress when you can't find something available. Besides like our vendors said the sooner we do this the less stress we'll have later on and we can focus more on all those little things we will still need to do.

So how many plans have all of you made. We have our place picked out and paid for and our caterer has a contract. All vendors in our area are telling us to get things done early because the date seems to be popular. Anyone else in the same boat?

| There is no real value to the date I picked lol. I'm graduating college with my BA in May of 07, and starting law school in August of 07, so we wanted a date in between. I had picked June 30 since it was a Saturday and gave me a little over a month to get my act together. When my fiance and I went to look at places for the reception, and I finally liked a place, the guy who was going through the contract with us asked if there was a particular reason for June 30, which there wasn't, and the price difference was astronomical from June to July, so we went with July. Very romantic right? lol

| I'm a 7-7-07 bride too! My fiances favorite number is 7 also. It was a long running joke until we got engaged in September of 05, then we knew what the wedding date would be!

| I was just wondering if any were out there and how you decided to go with that date. For me I knew I wanted to do this in 07. June or July because family from the farm doesn't have a lot to do and will be able to make it out. I realized July was 7 so that was easy. Then I thought about it and wondered what day the 7th was on and it was a Saturday. 7 always has been my lucky number so it was really funny to see it work out this way.
