It hasn't hit me just yet, it all doesnt seem real. I get a little fluttery when I think about that word FOREVER....I don't believe I have commited to anything for that long before:)

But I can't wait, I did have one sort of eye opener. We are doing a destination wedding and someone made the comment that I will leave with one name and return with another.

It hit me when I realized it was less than 6 weeks to go! Especially when invitations went out!

I was talking to my girlfriend the other night and she asked me what I was doing on Friday and I told her I have to see what my hubby and I are doing. We both had a laugh but my heart fluttered when I said that.

Mine hits me everyday. Small doses! I still have about 4 months still.

It hits me all the time, like when I say "My fiance'" or when we have to get something done for the planning. It's so amazing to me that I'm marrying this wonderful man.

Hasn't hit me yet! I mean I know, but I am not the bride that's freaking out yet and completely stressed... that's why I believe it hasn't hit me yet.

It hit me today. I can't believe we're getting married in a month and a half. It's such a beautiful, heart-warming thought. I love him! (now if I keep going, I might just quote something from "Jerry McGuire" or something sappy like that...)

I have two months to go. It's hit me, but it still doesn't seem real. We live an hour apart right now, and our relationship is very pure, so it's like, "Wow... we're going to get to spend sooo much time together when we're... married!"

I don't think it's really hit me yet. A little a few times, but I know at one point it's really going to *HIT* me and I'm the emotional type, so I'm going to break down & cry & stuff. *Big sap*

It keeps hitting me too! I went in for a dress fitting last night so that was really crazy. We took lots of pictures. Again. Haha.

And addressing invites is a big one for me too.

I think the 100 day mark was absolutely amazing too.

I thought it hit me when we choose the reception site and then I thought it hit me again when I found the dress!

As I was mailing out my invitations today it hit me again!

Will it ever stop hitting me?

I have 85 days until my wedding and it hasn't hit me yet! I'm home for spring break from college and packing up some of my stuff in my room. Maybe that will make it hit home more. I don't think it will until I begin to move my stuff in to our new apartment...

I got hit with the "wow, I'm getting married" thought when I tried on my wedding dress at the bridal shop. When I was trying on the sample dresses, I agree that it felt like I was playing dress up. But this was MY wedding dress.

Then it hit again when I started to address the invites. Once those go out, there's no going back. So I guess it's a series of things that keep reminding me that it's really happening.

Everyday and I love that feeling. I love the fact that we will be making decisions as a small family unit (no kids/pets yet!). It hits especially harder when I try on my dress.

I look forward to this new life with him! He's the greatest!

I think it hit me when my fiance and I met our close friends' new baby for the first time. Now, it seems like all our friends are pregnant, but the first kid in our circle of friends was a big deal to us. We left thinking "That's us in a couple of years. We're going to get married, start a family, and spend our whole lives together, as a couple, through good and bad."

Feeling good about the wedding took a lot longer though - we had some tough fights with his family and I work full time and am in grad school, so making time to plan can be tough. I think I finally got comfortable with the wedding in January or early February, when I ordered my dress, we booked the photographer and the DJ, chose the attendants outfits, and paid the deposit finally for the bus tour we hired for our guests (we have a 3 hour break between the ceremony and the reception, and we wanted to keep people busy, so the don't get drunk and/or cranky and bored). Once the to-do list started to get whittled down, I started looking forward to the whole thing in a way I haven't since before I knew how much work planning a wedding was!

The first time I tried on my dress just made me feel uncomfortable and like I was playing dress up... I think it hits me every time I get into a fight with my husband-to-be... we just moved in together in January, and I'm hoping this is our difficult first year of marriage :)

I've been married for three years and sometimes, it STILL 'hits' me... I say, "WOW, I'm married... this man will be in my life forever. No matter what is happening in our life, we will go through it together."

It's still intense. But in a good way!

When did it hit you that you were really getting married?

It does that every so often with me and I just have to take a step back.
