If you get a facial...especially for the first time...make sure you do it 5-7 days before your date...or more. I was so red and pink and gross the day of/two days after my first facial.

Not the best experience of my life either. I'd much prefered a massage.

My matron of honor is taking me to a spa a couple days before my wedding. I am sooo looking forward to it!

I am all about the facials for my stress reliever! I've never really enjoyed the massage as much, and I'd much prefer my $60-80 to a facial!

If you haven't had one, it's a MUST!!!

You're going to have a great time! Have fun. You definitely deserve it.

What kind of massage are you having and for how long? Some people like adding essential oils, such as orange or peppermint--are you going to try that?

You've probably heard all the stress-relieving tips by now. But I have to tell you, therapeutic massage is one of the best. True, they aren't always cheap. Depends where you go, the length of time, and what specifically is done. But it's truly worth it to have at least one good massage prior to your Big Day. Arrange for one by yourself or a joint massage with your Spouse2B or Matron/Maid of Honor.

There are massage schools that offer discount massages for a low price. Chiropractors practice it, too. And if you're into the spa scene and happen to be in Northern Virginia, here are a few I HIGHLY recommend=

- Tranquility Day Spa (Manassas, VA); http://www.tranquilitydayspa.com/
- Alexandre De Paris (Fairfax, VA); http://www.alexandredeparis.com/
- Shapes Salon & Day Spa (Herndon, VA & Fairfax Station, VA); http://www.shapesdayspa.com/index2.html
- Salon Nordine (Reston, VA); 703 437 6444
- Le Shoppe @ Reston Town Center (Reston, VA); 703 435 5555

I went to Tranquility in Manassas last night. Accidentally flashed the therapist when I rolled over on my back and almost kicked her when she massaged my feet (can I help it I'm so ticklish?).............but aside from that, it was a great visit.

Deep stress causes deep knots, you soon2Bmarrieds, so be good to yourselves. Have fun. Relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
