Will have cards with name and table as guests arrive.
Favors will be at table already or given out during.

| I picked the buffet so we didn't have to worry about it. One of my good friends had the name plates outside in the reception area with table numbers on them. When we walked into the dining hall we just proceeded to our table area.

What kind of favors are you using? I am getting married in a month. We are doing buffet style but I am having the favors at each place setting. We're doing CD's in cases and cute tiny takeout boxes with wedding fortune cookies in them. I think it'll work well so everyone gets one.  One month from today I will be having pina coladas in Jamaica...
We are letting folks seat themselves since it's buffet style. I want people to mingle and have a good time. Plus, it alleviates a TON of stress not having to do a seating chart. If I have any more stress I couldn't handle it!

| I put their seating assignment in a small silver frame and put them in ABC order by last name. Their favors were at their seats when they got there.

| Haven't crossed that bridge yet. We're doing buffett style so I thought about doing free for all seating, but that seems too drab. The last wedding I went to had place cards at the front of the reception hall and you picked them up and went to your table...it seemed to work well.

Hi - how did everyone set up the seating arrangements so that guests knew where they should sit?
I know that some people put the favors at the front of the room so that guests pick them up and table numbers are attached, but that seems like it could get annoying for guests to search for their names in a sea of favors...
Any suggestions would be great. I'm just trying to make the seating as easy for my guests as possible!
