Yup- definitely pick them both.
I have a best friend that I've known since kindergarten. Naturally, I wanted her to be a bridesmaid-- the only problem was that she is studying in France this year, and didn't know if she'd be back in time for the wedding.
She worked it out so she will be back (sign of a very best friend!), but we'd already ordered the bridesmaid dresses.
So... she's wearing a similar dress in a different color. When it comes down to it... I'd much rather have her standing up there with me than have all the dresses match-- I don't care what anyone thinks!
With your bridal party- have what you want-- no rules!

Hi there. I ran into the same thing. Two best friends, both like sisters, and I love them both. One is married, so she is the Matron of Honor, and the other is single, so she's the Maid of Honor.
It's all good.

| Pick them both! No one says you have to hold to the traditions from so long ago. One of my good friends had her best friend, who was male, be her person of honor.

| I have two. I have no sisters and couldn't choose between my two best friends, so I have both of them for my MOH and then one additional bridesmaid. My Fiance is doing the same thing. Two best men, one groomsman
