There's no such thing as too many sweets!

That sounds like a great idea.

I would keep the fact that they are Vegan, under your hat though. Some people would just automatically assume that the baked goods didn't taste good.

thats not a bad idea. it is YOUR wedding you should do what you want. the cupcakes isnt a bad idea. a. it saves on anyone taking home leftover cake. 2 prob less expensive..three i seen it done on a few episodes of whose wedding is it anyway and i think it is a great idea. plus if anyone doesnt like choc. for example they could have a yellow cupcake. instead of just like one flabor wedding cake.

Interesting concept and I love the DIY aspect, homemade is such a nice and sentimental touch! I don't think its too many sweets at the table, I love your idea of the cupcake stand as your centerpiece, how cute! I would just say make sure the cupcakes are not sitting out on the table forever, if its just through supper to desert thats more than fine, you just don't want them to dry out at all.

Its interesting that you want to prove to your guests that vegan cuisine is tasty, lol I don't doubt that it is but I have a somewhat similar situation in regards to cake/cupcakes but I went the opposite route. I am severely allergic to all grains (not celiac) so the 100 people at my wedding get to eat my wedding cake but I don't! My sister (who is a chef) has graciously offered to make me a smaller cake that is wheat free but part of me just wishes the entire cake was one that I could eat...I don't think my version tastes bad at all :)

Hey guys. Question. I should start off by saying, my fiance and I follow a vegan diet. For my favors, I plan on having little bags for each guest filled with vegan baked goods made by my fiance and myself. I think for the cake, we're just going to make cupcakes ourselves. (DIY, much?) I'm wanting to create a cupcake stand to have as the main centerpiece of each table. So my question is.....is it too much foods/sweets at the table? I think, perhaps, I'm trying to prove to everyone that vegan cuisine is just as tasty as regular cuisine....haha
