                                                <td>Holly your definitely right about the height and weight combination. I think that's why I've opted to drop down to 154, 160 th3 high side. Not because I think it's the optimum weight but that's the optimum weight for me. But if I get to size back to a size eight dress before I hit that weight then I'll be more than happy. I know I'm extremely unhappy at my current weight which is the heaviest and most uncomfortable I've ever been.

I just have one comment to make. As i was looking at some peoples goals I am amazed to see what some people want to lose, and while i don't know how tall some are i just want to remind everyone that setting a goal for wt loss should be realistic. I've been crazy with school stuff since he proposed a few weeks ago, so I haven't gotten a chance to go all out with planning, except collecting old bridal magazines from people. <BR><BR>I got this strange idea that I'd love to lose weight for the wedding. Specifically, about 45 pounds. I know it's doable over the course of a year, even at a modest rate of weight loss. The weirdest thing is that I'm so used to being larger, and losing that much weight would put me around 140. I haven't been 140 since, oh, 5th grade. So the THOUGHT of being more towards the slender range is just crazy to me. I decided that I needed goals, so I'm training for a <a href="/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=598">5k</a> at the end of September. All of the healthiest people I know seem to be runners, so I figure, why not, might as well try. I also am trying to keep track of measurements, since I'm working on strength training as well.

I'm not worried yet as I haven't gotten measured for the alterations yet.  My advice get your fiance involved in your exercise and eating.  My fiance is my biggest cheerleader!  Since I started on this website 2 weeks ago i've already lost 3 lbs. The most important thing is lose the weight and get healthy for yourself it has taken me quite to figure out this is the only way I will succeed.

                                                <td>I do not have a goal weight.  I have goal measurements.  Weight is a really bad indicator of your fitness.  When I first started working out, I had put on more weight then when I started (in muscle) but I dropped a complete dress size.  That is when I switched to the measurement goals.  My <a href="http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/search_results.asp?site_search_term=wedding">wedding</a> is in September of next year (yeah, I know it is more then a year from now, but that is how it had to work out)  I have already found my dress, unfortunately, the designer seems to think that nobody should be bigger then a size 14.  I was an 18 when I found it.  I got the measurements for the dress from the designer and those are my goal.  Decide where you want to be and what you want to look like and go that route. I've gained back so much weight, that if I were to only lose 1 pound a week, with no glitches, I'd reach my goal weight just a couple of weeks before the wedding. Which doesn't work, because I have to buy my dress much sooner than that. It doesn't mean that I say to hell with it & stop working out or eating decent.
