I am over 50 and trying my best to get fit. I can admit that I have been doing some type of cardio for about 14 months now, and I am in better shape than I was at 45. I spent the past 12 months on Weight Watchers, lost about 27 pounds. Since I joined SP Mar 08, I have been more motivated and focused. I have found many new friends that have offered me support and kind words of encouragement on days that I was feeling down. I have set many goals for myself, and I have learned to take each day at a time. I am not always successful, but I at least rejoice in my small accomplishments (now). I can't tell you how long it has taken me to gain this appreciation.

maybe...it is always nice to have a perspective for the funny side of things...
