Okay, hands up all of us who were a bit overenthusiastic at the family meal on Easter. I know I got carried away. Thank heavens there were so many healthy things I could eat... several family members brought things like spinach salad, deviled eggs (made with fat-free Mayo!), a wonderful dessert with Angel food cake, fat-free CoolWhip, and crushed pineapple. Yummmmm! I was happy to see that I did manage to eat all that good stuff without gaining weight. First thing Monday morning I hopped up on the scale with dread in my heart. I am grateful for that, and now I am ready to resume a more rational way of eating again. Hooray for Sparks People for helping me remember to forgive myself for these lapses in judgement, and hooray for family members bringing diet-friendly food to the table. Hugs to all of you
