| I really don't believe anybody can tolerate it. Those who say they can just don't realize that any problems they have are more than likely related to dairy. Even if I could "tolerate" it, I wouldn't use it. It's nutrients were designed to be used by calves, not humans. My sinuses are still thanking me. ;-) I also use soy milk in everything, from cereal to cooking. I don't eat a lot of soy products, however. I rely on fruits, veggies and beans for my calcium and I exercise. My bones are stronger than my 37-year-old daughter's who refuses to give it up.

My body will not tolerate any milk products and I do not miss them. I use a little soya milk on my cereal but that is all.
The milk product are terrible on my digestive system. It is really hard to make a lot of things without the milk. I use soya milk but don't like other soya products.

| I think most people have a problem with dairy. It affects everyone in a negative way but it is usually blamed on something else. I avoid it because of the toxins and fat and (even "low fat"-there is no such thing and "lactose-free)and the fact that it was designed to nourish a calf, not a human and especially not an adult human. A 25-year study (The China Study) has proven that the casein in milk, although doesn't cause cancer, will promote the spread after cancer cells have been established. Cows milk and the products from it are not at all necessary for human nutrition. I get my calcium from healthier choices. It's been linked to so many diseases. Not my cup of tea. :-)

| Milk is also a problem with me. I do have Lactose free milk in moderation.

| Spark People has made a difference in my life, but I'm going to have to forego the advice about dairy, any kind, even the "wonderful" yogurt. Dairy has done more harm to my body than it ever did good. Bottom line... Milk is for babies. Cow's milk is for calves. I was weaned 53 years ago off the breast. I don't need to go back to the cow's. :-)
