My suggestion about getting throught the evening is to make sure you are eating enough throughout the day. Try to have healthy snacks available and keep drinking lots of fluids (no cal no caffiene) If you like to do crafts of any type and can keep your hands busy it also helps. Good luck!! Know that you can do it. You have it within your power to change your life.

| Somebody give me a needle and thread to sew my lips shut when I get home. I have no luck once I get through the door. Any ideas to help me get through the evenings?

| you can do it it took me three weeks to break through a road block. and i ner faultered from my routine it just took me tat long. must have been some really old fat that didn't want to get woke up and moved out. Ha!

| We have a Spark team that is family (and extended family) members that is fun because we can all keep each other motivated and offer support on the bad days.

I've been discouraged for quite some time. But last weekend was the first weekend in 9 months I did not put the two or three pounds I'd lost during the week, back on. I can do it!!!! My granddaughter has started a new phrase at our house which we all seem to use for one reason or another. It is "No, I'm not going to do it." I'm trying to make it my mantra. When I see food that I really don't need, I try to say that very sternly to myself. Most of the time it works.

I've been discouraged also as the scales haven't shown any big change but then I brought out the tape measure and found out that I lost 2 1/2 inches on my hips and 3 inches on my waist so it looks like I'm doing something right.
