I think the biggest goal we can have is to choose to move! As I get older I get more aches and pains but realize that exercise is the key to helping me lose weight. When I exercise I am not as hungry and I definitely sleep much better if I've had a good workout during the day.

My exercise may seem too little for some but with extra weight that I carry around even walking can be an effort. When I carry a backpack with my groceries the effort is even more difficult.

Hi! I am also in my 50's (51). I find it harder to loose weight being in my fifty's then in my twenty's. I think in my case it was because I was much more active at twenty. I danced, and didn't eat all the time. Now I have too many aches and pains to move around to much now. So welcome and don't be discouraged you can do it. There are alot of people that are willing to help. Kim
