You are both right about Jack! His radio show is a blast (there are podcasts, too), and if you listen to it live 12 EST/9am PST), they are always giving away juicers, cookbooks, etc.
Hw is THE MAN! If it weren't for his good teaching, I would still be eating food with chemicals and still be tired and feeling bad!
The link for the radio show is on www.jacklalanne.com

I will sure listen to his radio show. I admire him because he has lived what he has taught. To think his father died of a heart attack at age 50 and his brother died as a child because of poor health, he didn't have great "genes" to live so long, so this has been lifestyle.

I remember him doing calisthetics on black and white TV but don't remember his dog. Having a dog has likely helped his longevity. I like his Target ads. Nice example of quality life.

Do you remember Jack LaLanne and his dog HAPPY? I was about 6 when we got our first TV in 1956 and I started watching him. He is in wonderful health and doesn't have heart disease or alzheimers. His wife is 84 and she is in great shape. I think he has a wonderful attitude. My favorite quote is "MOST PEOPLE MY AGE ARE DEAD"....Jack L. Did you ever send off for his STRETCHER? I did.
