Thanks to both of you! I did do better yesterday( monday). I think I do need to schedule in some snacks, too. I believe they would keep me better satisfied, so I wouldn't be quite as tempted to overeat. That does make a lot of sense! Thanks!

What helps me not get overly hungry is if I eat 5 times a day -- three major meals, plus two snacks. Which bascially means that you are eating every 2 to 3 hours. For breakfast sometimes I eat oatmeal with 1/2 c. blueberries, and 1/4 c. low fat milk or soymilk. Then 2 hours later as a snack, I may eat an apple. Two or so hours later for lunch would be some carbs (pasta or bread) and lots of veggies. Then 2 or so hours later another snack (1/2 c. of almonds or a banana). Then, you guessed it, two hours or so later, eat a healthy dinner. Try not to eat no later than 7:00. This way your food is digested by the time you go to bed (10:00?)because when you are sleeping you want your body to be burning fat not the food. Then when you are the most hungry you will be asleep, but you won't notice because you will be sleeping. If you do get hunger pangs just before bed, eat small a sensible snack (carrot sticks, 1/2 of a slice of bread (not a full slice) with 1 tbls of peanut butter, 1 c. air popped popcorn without butter).

We all have bad days -- I wasn't hungry at lunch time so snacked too much.
Guess we need to make better choices for ourselves tomorrow.

Is anybody having trouble staying out of the food today? I can't seem to stop eating! I'm not hungry but have already eaten about 500 extra calories after I'd already exceeded my daily allowance. It is so depressing to me.Even while I'm eating i'm thinking "why am I doing this?" Now I'm even more depressed and upset, too.
