I lost 57 pounds after 50. It took 10 months. If I could do it, so can you. It really does take being impeccible and following all the rules for a healthy lifestyle change. My meal plans are 'open' if you ever want ideas. I have also found that maintaining takes the same attention that losing took.
so it goes!

I am losing at approximately 1# per week - with ups and downs here and there. I used to lose at a 2# per week rate, but the big M has had something to do with it.

I have to work harder at losing. I exercise 5x a week and really try to watch what food I'm eating and how much. Of course, my lifestyle has changed a great deal in the last couple of years, too, so that's a difference.

Let's face it ... when we get to be this age (I'm 53), a lot changes. Just go with the flow and change with it. Don't get discouraged, but adjust ... you'll at least keep your sanity (or what's left of it -lol).

How are you all doing with losing? I find it is really hard for me since I am over fifty.
