Hi Grandmaloupy! Welcome!
The weather has been kind of stormy here and now they are having record cold spells here in Texas today and tomorrow.
My husband is preparing to leave on a sailboat for 7 days to Florida and I am losing my great grandmother... I will write more when I have some time. I promise :)

Hi All, I'm 59 years young and LIVE in an RV year round. We have for almost 10 years. We live in AZ. My DH is not retired yet, so we don't travel much. We moved from WA state almost 2 years ago now. My RV is a 33 ft 5th wheel with 2 slide outs. I can do WATP videos, weights and bands in here. I also walk around our park like most others here. We are great walkers and bikers in this park. In the fall, winter and spring we like to take to some of the hiking trails here. I like to take photos of all the plants and desert wildlife. The summer we try and swim. It rarely gets below 80 degrees here in the summer even at night. We eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies that are in season. I shop about every 2 days or so because our refrig is very small. It was nice seeing others on here that kind of has the same lifestyle as we do. We love living this kind of life and meeting such wonderful people who visit our park. Have a wonderful, safe and healthy weekend. And, Happy Easter to you! Loupy

Hi Tom! Sorry I hadn't gotten back to you- I worked 12 hours yesterday in the park office and 10 today. eek :) Have you been here? :) Serendipity Bay Resort RV and Marina- Palacios, TX - this is where we found our boat and we were fortunate enough to find the boat (Wauquiez Chance 37) in a marina with an RV park! So we live in our camper while Brett rebuilds the boat.
It DOES sound like we have a lot in common! I agree about fresh food- I walk/bike to the store (good exercise) almost every day and buy smallest amounts I can for bananas and lettuce. I have really gotten to eating canned pears and strawberries in my special K.
I would love to chat more but I am exhausted from working. I will touch base tomorrow! Thanks for writing!
Kyla

Just looked at your sparkpage. Different ages but lot in common. We have had two Irvings, a 23 and 25 foot 2500 lb Keel and centerboard. Never got 3 miles off the coast. Most in and around the keys and in the bay. My son is a professional jeweler who after 25 years closed the store, makes jewelry in a separate shop at home and sells weekends in shows. My wife listens to Swindoll daily. Tom

Hi,
Thanks for the post and good information. I had given up on a response. I did that post on 3/9/07. Tension bands are a good idea. We have some dumb bells. They are adjustable and fit in a small pack. We have a ball that we may take along. I do a lot of early morning walks. Our unit is a bit larger. Check out the photo on my sparkpage. The exercise and diet challenges are the same. I eat a lot of fresh fruit. A bit harder to keep than at home. We live in Florida and N. C. We have traveled to most national parks. We have toured to and from: Alaska, East and west coasts, North and South Borders, four Canadian provinces, plus Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland [end to end] & Labrodor. Parks include: Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Brice and Zion, Grand Tetons, Crater Lake, Glacier, Bar Harbor and Arcadia, Cadillac Mountain, Smokie Mountains, Pacific Coast & Natches Trace. Everglads and many Florida Parks. We've been in all but 5 states and plan to cover those. We belong to several RV Camping clubs including [Wall-Mart] HA! A lot more to talk about.

Hi Soaring-Eagle! I traveled 3200 miles from Oregon to Texas in our 13 ft camper truck, towing a 20ft folding trimaran. We now live at an RV park in our camper while Brett fixes up our boat to live on.
I have had to completely readjust the way I eat and how to store foods and find exercise.
I found that tension bands and 5lb dumb bells work great in this tiny space. Belly dancing would work too, I have been wanting to get a video for awhile now. I can't seem to do yoga or kickboxing in here. I saw that Denise Austin has a standing-pilates video I wanted to try too.
When I got to rv parks on our way here, i scoped out hiking trails and sidewalks. Most of my fitness was walk, walk, walk- Exploring the landscape on trails to exploring towns and their shops. We did a lot of rockhounding too which can be streneous at times. Doing wall squats, etc is nice. I have a routine now of 30min. strength training (all standing up ones off of spark for abs/upper/lower) with my free weights included.
I am at lunch right now but I want to chat more with you, I was dying to find someone who was doing this in a small motorhome/rv/etc too!
I'll come back tonight and tell you about what I had to do with food...
TTFN!
