Well if it worked for you than I say go for it as long as it is a healthy diet. I count fats but I also count calories. I have tried so many diets at some time or another and just doing 1200 calories (give or take) and keeping my fats down is what has always worked for me. I do remember the T Factor, that was one of the few I didn't try for some reason. Maybe the book was to thick and I didn't want to read all that lol.

Being a vegetarian I do count fat grams because it is usually a challenge to get enough.
I never heard of that T-Factor diet.

I am new and posted this elsewhere, but I thought I'd post here. I am 53 and others over 50 will surely remember the T-Factor Diet which was popular in the 80's and 90's. This was the ONLY thing that ever worked for me to keep my weight down. Just counting fat grams, and staying between 20-40 a day. No calories, carbs, points, etc. Just fat grams.

I know this is not a trendy diet anymore. Anyone else do this, or just lower their fat intake to keep their weight down?

I'm going back to the only thing that ever really worked for me.
