Hi, M

It sounds like water exercise might be good for you. Pool-walking and water aerobics take a lot of the physical stress related to weight-bearing out of walking and exercise, but the resistance of the water still enables you to get a good workout. Many gyms have pools and water exercise classes now, and there are also videos available on-line. Stationary biking might also be a good alternative.

Hope this helps.

Bi-polar. Difficulty walking after foot surgery. Slow on stairs. CPAP at night for sleep apnea. Just can't be as active as I was four years ago. Gained weight.I have been watching my diet closely and have lost 22 lbs. this past year.Any ideas on how to be active despite these health problems?
