I have been wondering about skin issues, too. They lose pretty rapidly on Biggest Loser, but most of them are fairly young...20s and 30s, I believe. That could have something to do with skin resilience.

These are just my thoughts and I'd sure like to have some more information too. My upper arms are already rather saggy. I'm thinking that one key is losing the weight slower so the skin has time to adjust but also very important is strength exercise(building the muscle rather than just burning the calories). I haven't really watched the biggest loser but caught bits and pieces and considering the weight they lose, they don't seem to have a big problem with the skin hanging down so I figure it must be all the strength exercise they do.
I'll be watching for further posts too.

| ok, is it possible to lose weight and tighten up any stretched skin without surgery? has anyone researched this? my husband says he thinks you can if you have not been too obese. what are your thoughts on this?
