Cooked a 12 lb Brisket for the family reunion,used 2 beers,S&P a few other spices,laced with jalapenos,and cooked for 6 hours.it just feel apart and melted in your mouth.

Beer is wonderful to cook with, I use it for batters, too. My husband makes beer butt chicken often too.

Hey Kid:
that's the only way I get Beer anymore is to cook with it.The hops adds a lot of flavor to food,I use that batter on a lot of things,like fish,squash,peppers,okra.Use beer in stews,BBQ,meat marenaids,and yes even sneak a swallow ever now and then.

Fried cucumbers:
Make a batter but use beer as your liquid,dip cucumber slices in and drop into a frydaddy,cook just like zucchini,but better flavor.YOU'LL like.
