Hello from Melbourne,Fl: I have to be more methodical to be successful. The problem is that I am not consistant. The meal times, sleep times, exercise times are a jumbled mess. I will be working on that. Hope you are all doing well. Teri

Loretta, I understand the starch problem, I don't eat much anymore and find I am not missing it. The south beach plan of eliminating high carbs completely for two weeks really helped me with cutting the cravings long term. I started eating only whole wheat or multigrain pasta, now I don't even like the white refined stuff. It is way too starchy. I never touch white bread anymore, either. It is whole grain or nothing. It is working. You just need to find what works for you. I am sure you will stay determined, just keep using spark and it will all come together for you. Blessings, Deana

| Hello Deana...thanks for your welcome...I almost feel like this site is my guardian angel to keep me on track instead of going to meetings...Im in day 3 and its hard, the good foods are not keeping me full and the nights are very long with dreams of starch and more starch...thats the difficult part for me...but Im so hopeful I will stay determined. Again, thanks for your welcome and your ears...regards, Loretta
