Love songs from the fifties and sixties I always loved this music I was very young in the fifties but for some reason some of the songs hold a special place in my heart. Maybe from another lifetime??
What time of year is your favorite and why?

I do have twin sons, Chad and William, but not babies, 35 years old. They would have been named Rachel and Rebecca had they been girls.
What kind of music do you listen to when you're trying to chill out?

|
I just keep moving. I could be exercising, running errands, cleaning the house, gardening - anything. I just don't sit still to long. I drink lots and lots of water all day long, it makes me feel full.
If you had twins what would you name them? Two names for boys and two names for girls.

I also like the foodnetwork Rachel Ray,Paula Deen, but had to give up Paula because I found myself gaining wt by cooking her southern style. I am a big Lost fan and love to read Mysteries.
What do you do to keep your mind off of food?

I ride most place, not necessarily by choice. walking would be lovely. Everything is too spreadout.
What is your favorite outdoor activity?

I have a gardens all plants, flowers, green shrubs. I have 10 beds. One runs the entire length of my fence and across in front of my deck. Its approx 48 ft long 2 ft wide along the fence and it's 16ftlong 2 ft wide the corners being 3ft depth in front of my deck. I have loads of perennials I love tinkering in my garden listening to the sounds of nature. I also have a huge bed in the other corner of my backyard. I am going to be changing things around in there this year now that I can see the plants that need to be moved.
Do you bike, walk or ride to most places.

This is selfish, I know, but I'd wish that my husband didn't have to work so hard. He's not getting any younger.

Not that I'm anywhere close to her perfection, but Mother Teresa. She was the epitome of grace,kindness,beauty of heart and soul,humility,and service to God. Mother Teresa's work has been recognized and acclaimed throughout the world and she saved many lives and many souls.

Short term - my husband and I will be taking a long weekend and staying at a bed & breakfast in 2 weeks. Long term - not sure yet.

| I did accounting for over 20 yrs total. A wash machine company-13 yrs in Wichita Falls Tx. a Truck dealership in Ft.Worth Tx until my Health went bad and now have had a total hip replacement so am back to normal or trying..this site really has really helped me..I drive a pale green 2005 Dodge Stratus.Its great to drive again..Vacation plans this year??

| the most I have ever weighed was back in 1977 and tipped the scales at 210 ,had a 7lb babygirl and got under 200 after 1984 and now at 190 so I have been heavy all my life..high school was 150 lowest 130.Its a battle..now with my age its a fight..but I am determined and this site has really helped..What do you do to stay out of the refrigerator,..I like to cook also..???

I've been on Weight Watchers,LA Weight Loss,Curves,had a personal trainer and dietician,Atkins,South Beach,Rice Diet,E diets,Nutra Systems,and the Blood Type diet. As my profile says DIETS ARE QUICK FIXES....now I'm having a lifestyle change. I'm eating healthy food and exercising daily. Thanks Sparkpeople.

I love the movie,PAY IT FORWARD circa 2000. A school assignment leads to social change that spread from one town to another. Assigned to come up with some idea that will improve mankind, a little boy decides that if he can do three good deeds for someone and they in turn can "pay it forward" and so on, positive changes can occur in our society. It's a must see in my book. The "Passion of the Christ" is also my favorite too because it brings to life salvation for Christians.
