I collect Christmas ornaments. Whenever I go on a trip I pick up one or two to add to my collection. Now it has gotten to the point that I can't put them all on the tree at once.

I collect Dept 56 Villages, North Pole, Dickens Christmas in the City(I have well over 200 so I have to display them all year) I have about 35 Holloween Dept 56 houses and get them out only at Holloween. I have the Disney collection that Dep 56 discontinued. (I keep them in the boxes in the attic, don't know what to do with them).
I also collect David Winter cottages (have about 75) Each room in my house is a different theme so therefore I collect many other things, parrot items (sunroom) Magnolia's (master bedroom) fruit (kitchen) I could go on for days I also scrapbook and stamp have at least a zillion items of each. I wonder where I find the time to overeat at but I do.

Depression glass..
Colonial Block and Optic block in green, mostly. I have odds and ends of different patterns. The key to my collection is I don't spend a lot of money on it. If I can find a piece at a yard sale, cheap I am happy. I have gotten a few pieces on eBay and Antique stores, but I won't pay a lot.
Most of the fun comes from finding a bargain!

Does anybody have any collections? I have a collection of Dickens Christmas Village. Thanks to ebay it has become quite extensive. My problem is that it is hard to find a place to store it as it does take up quite a bit of room. I also can't seem to pass up those cookbooks in the check out lanes. You know the ones....Pillsbury, Betty Crocker etc. Also the ones put out by church groups or other organizations. My son says I am a pack rat so I always need to explain to him the difference between a pack rat and a collector.
