Thanks. Have done well the last few nights. I space my meals and snacks at three hour intervals and this keeps me from getting too hungry and overeating. Drinking plenty of water too.

Good Luck to you,
I have worked that shift in a hospital, and it is a hard one. Also food is abundant in all of the kitchens, it seems...How did you do the last couple of nites??

Congrats on the pound! Maybe your friend will be an additional support for you. That would be great. I certainly am no expert, but when I read your post about late night shifts and snacking, I swear I could feel the waves of fatigue washing over me. I think that would be the worst for me... feeling that a bite of something would give me the energy I needed. The fresh air and water are brilliant, though - healthy ways to keep yourself refreshed. You go girl!

I weighed in today and I lost another pound and I'm feeling great!!! Tracking and measuring what I eat is getting much easier. Told a co-worker about this site and she immediately signed up. Hope she sticks to it like I have. If anyone out there can help with watching meals etc. when working 12 hour night shifts I would greatly appreciate it. So far I've done pretty good at not getting the munchies on my down time at work (I'm a nurse). When I start getting them I grap my bottle of water or go outside for a breather. So far that seems to help. Bought a pedometer today and a FM ear bud radio for when I walk.
