Night time, definately. Reading, or watching TV and I'm just bored, restless, etc. I could have 50 carrots, or pounds of anything else healthy, and it wouldn't do the trick...it isn't really food I am craving, I know that. Maybe I'll figure that out while I'm here!

Mine is afternoons. Once I get home from work, I am too busy to find time to eat (If I don't eat dinner as soon as I get home, I even forget to do that.) and I don't sit down and watch TV at all -- just busy until bedtime. Afternoons, however, are beastly. Once I have lunch, it opens my munchy brain cells and I can't get enough to eat until I get home. I have to have lots of low cal snacks on hand to keep me going. Sometimes I drag out my lunch, eating only small amounts at a time to make it last longer -- that helps too.

Mine tends to be the evenings when I finally sit down and watch tv...too late for coffee. I usually just eat popcorn, as it isn't too bad if you pop it yourself and don't add butter. I think we should just concede to the time of day, we need that "pick me up" and eat something healthy instead of junk. Get those carrot sticks out. How about an orange, popcorn. I used to cut up carrots, celery, raw potatoes, peppers, any raw veggie in tiny peices and call it "popcorn". It really helps the munching urge.PLAN AHEAD!!! KEEP CONTROL.
Get thee out in the kitchen and get some veggie popcorn ready....haha

After dinner while I'm watching my husband chow down on potato chips and popcorn and CANDY. He has been fortunate enough to have stayed the same weight since the day we got married. Not so for me!

Mine is the middle of the night..I wake up and want to EAT..omg..its awful. I am trying so very hard to break this habit. I can do so well all day long. If I could break this habit I would be doing so much better on my weight loss. UGH

My dangerous time is in the morning. I'm fine in the afternoon and at night. I try to do something when I want to eat more than I should. Some things I do are calling a friend or family member, cleaning, organizing, doing a craft ,reading, exercising, praying, and so on. My favorite thing to do currently is coming on Sparkpeople and reading and writing in this forum. Good Luck and hoped I helped a little. I love reading the advice from the sweet coaches here and in their articles!

Worst for me is the evening, by far.
I try drinking water and tea, and I participate in the "No eating after dinner" challenge, which helps to keep me accountable; see
